Scanned PDF document blur and background noises

I had configure my OM with exchange connector and is working fine when sending faxes thru outlook. However, whenever I had a scanned document in PDF and send via outlook, the recipient received the fax is blurry and have heavy background noises. Is there any configuration that I need to configure to fix this? Many Thanks!!

Hi,
I think this is a problem with the conversion of the pixel format of the scanner in the pixel format of the fax. Please try to fax a directly created PDF file (such as Word to PDF) and you sure have a better quality.

additionally to Willmars answer:
Please make sure your scan your documents in grayscale, NOT colored, and use scans from white paper.
